Her mom and grandmother pose here with the quilt.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href='http:\/\/www.galeriaoctagono.com\/blog\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/quilt-for-baby1.JPG' title='quilt-for-baby1.JPG'><img src='http:\/\/www.galeriaoctagono.com\/blog\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/quilt-for-baby1.thumbnail.JPG' alt='quilt-for-baby1.JPG' \/><\/a>       Para este proyecto enviamos los bloques a familiares y amigos de Emily y Dan en Canad\u00e1 y EEUU. Luego hicimos la quilt de pared, pues algunos bloques son algo peligrosos para la beb\u00e9, ya que no fueron bien pegados, o tienen protuberancias.<br \/>\n<strong>For this project we sent blocks to Emily&#8217;s and Dan&#8217;s relatives and friends in Canada and the U.S.. Then, we made a wall quilt, because some of the blocks are dangerous to the baby since they weren&#8217;t properly sewn, or have protruding elements.<\/strong>       <a href='http:\/\/www.galeriaoctagono.com\/blog\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/quilt-for-baby2.JPG' title='quilt-for-baby2.JPG'><img src='http:\/\/www.galeriaoctagono.com\/blog\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/quilt-for-baby2.thumbnail.JPG' alt='quilt-for-baby2.JPG' \/><\/a><br \/>\n<a href='http:\/\/www.galeriaoctagono.com\/blog\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/s-quilt-2.JPG' title='s-quilt-2.JPG'><img src='http:\/\/www.galeriaoctagono.com\/blog\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/s-quilt-2.thumbnail.JPG' alt='s-quilt-2.JPG' \/><\/a>        Al final, le hicimos un libro de tela, con recuerdos de este proyecto.  <a href='http:\/\/www.galeriaoctagono.com\/blog\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/s-quilt-3.JPG' title='s-quilt-3.JPG'><img src='http:\/\/www.galeriaoctagono.com\/blog\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/s-quilt-3.thumbnail.JPG' alt='s-quilt-3.JPG' \/><\/a>  <strong>At the end, we made her a fabric book with mementos of the project. <\/strong><br \/>\n<a href='http:\/\/www.galeriaoctagono.com\/blog\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/s-quilt-4.JPG' title='s-quilt-4.JPG'><img src='http:\/\/www.galeriaoctagono.com\/blog\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/s-quilt-4.thumbnail.JPG' alt='s-quilt-4.JPG' \/><\/a>        Y como a abuelita Dorothy le encantan los camellos, le hicimos nueve camellos de tela (\u00a1lavables!).<\/p>\n<p><strong>And since grandma Dorothy loves camels, we made her nine cloth camels (they&#8217;re washable!) <\/strong>   <a href='http:\/\/www.galeriaoctagono.com\/blog\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/s-quilt-5.JPG' title='s-quilt-5.JPG'><img src='http:\/\/www.galeriaoctagono.com\/blog\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/s-quilt-5.thumbnail.JPG' alt='s-quilt-5.JPG' \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00bfPOR QUE BLANCO Y NEGRO?<br \/>\nBlanco y negro es la &#8220;etapa zebra&#8221;: lo primero que distinguen y aprecian los beb\u00e9s.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>WHY BLACK &#038; WHITE?<br \/>\nBlack &#038; white is the &#8220;zebra stage&#8221;\u2014the first thing babies can see and appreciate.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La peque\u00f1a Eleanor naci\u00f3 el 2 de junio.
