Los miércoles ofrecemos un lugar de encuentro toda la tarde, para que los vecinos vengan y compartan.
Si gustan hacer algún proyecto textil, les ofrecemos ayuda y compartimos materiales.
Pueden traer repostería y la Galería ofrece bebidas y galletas.
Este servicio es gratis para la comunidad.
On Wednesdays we offer a meeting place all afternoon so that neighbors come over, meet people and share experiences.
If you want to do a textile project, we offer you help, and share materials with you.
You may bring pastries, but the Gallery usually offers beverages and cookies.
This is, of course, free of charge to the community.

Silvia Piza-Tandlich: “Sister Mississippi” Project
El pasado 1ro de marzo, un grupo e mujeres indígenas inició una larga caminata desde la cabeza del Mississippi hasta el Golfo de México, como abalanza de restauración para el Río.
On March 1st, a group of Indigenous women began their walk from the headwaters of the Mississippi River all the way to the Gulf of Mexico as a healing prayer for the River. 
Una gran visión nos llegó a muchas artistas textiles, quienes creemos que las fibras, las puntadas…le harán sanar.
A great vision came to many of us textile artists, who hope the fibres, the stitches…will make the River heal.
El Mississippi es el segundo río más contaminado de los EEUU. Al llegar al Golfo de México, ya casi no contiene oxígeno.
The Mississippi is the econd most polluted river in the U.S.. At the Gulf of Mexico, it no longer has oxygen!

Silvia Piza-Tandlich is a culture maker, with roots in environmental responsibility. Her vision allows her to develop an ethical and civic conduct together with her artistic creation. She educates, and lures to rescue the Costa Rican tradition, artistic use of rescued materials, and support for human diversity in all its forms. By offering community support nets, Silvia protects and enriches Tico identity, exploring and enjoying cultural life, and sharing it in a simple, easy to understand way.
